Helpdeliver exceptional care to our residents at our Karri & Tuart Lodge and Vivian Bullwinkel Lodge facilitiesin Merriwa. As a Carer with RAAFA, you will develop meaningful relationships with our residents to ensure their needs, interests, routines and preferences are respected and met. You will be responsible for providing direct care as specified in the resident's care plan and work closely and collaboratively with our senior clinical staff to ensure that care is delivered to the highest standard!

This role as aCarer will see you:
* Beresponsible for providing direct care, support and assistance to residents
* Encourage and promotethe activities program for residents
* Assist residents to communicate to ensure that the rights, interests and needs of resident's are met
* Respond to resident's requests for personal care and other assistance
* Maintain residentrecords and information, utilising relevant systems and in linewith specified policies and procedures
* Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe homelike environment for the resident
* Encourage and promote the independence and freedom of choice of residents.
Aboutyou:
* Posses sa Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or hold asimilar qualification
* Previousexperience working in Residential Aged Care
* Ability to work autonomously and with a multidisciplinary team
* Well-developedcommunication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understand their needs.
* Demonstrate flexible decision making and advanced problem solving skills.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
* Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.
