Greatness starts here - About the Orange Door The Orange Door Partnership aims to address the needs of all Victorians who experience or use Family Violence as well as families who need support in relation to child wellbeing. The HMA Orange Door covers the Local Government Areas of Hume and Merri-bek and is an integrated intake and assessment service that is the referral pathway to a range of services including I ntegrated Family Services, Specialist Women’s Family Violence Services, Men’s Behaviour Change and other services. DPV practitioners within the HMA Orange Door provide specialist family violence intake assessment and referral responses primarily to adults who use violence. Description About the opportunity : The Senior Practitioner – Adults who use Family violence is a senior clinical position responsible for providing specialist family violence responses primarily to people who use violence. The position may also include providing specialist family violence responses to adult victim survivors and their children depending on service needs. The position has supervisory responsibilities that include the provision of clinical supervision and delivery of day-to-day clinical supports and guidance. The Senior Practitioner will work closely with the team leader to support their clinical and operational leadership within the Orange Door. The Senior Practitioner will lead by example to provide day to day coaching, clinical leadership, support and direction to foster and develop a strong, engaged and effective team. The position will collaborate across relevant functions of the HMA Orange door within a matrix framework to optimize clinical outcomes and service delivery. The position will also closely work with the DPV Health management to optimize clinical and business outcomes within a growth, developmental and future orientated environment. The position will require supporting delivery of exceptional evidence-based, cost effective, innovative and efficient care to Orange Door clients in line with the organizational, strategic and program plans. DPV Health is looking for candidates with: Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) Victoria Police Check Current Victorian Driver’s License Hold a Bachelor of Social Work, Eligible for membership of AASW OR at least 5 years relevant experience and be working towards meeting recommendation 209 – social work degree Experience within the family violence sector including experience working with men using violence. Demonstrated leadership capability and competence in providing consults, coaching and mentoring. A passion for integrated service delivery, service reform and improving outcomes for women, children and families.
