ACG Airconditioning & Electrical is seeking multiple experienced Solar Installers / Solar Electricians to join our Townsville team and deliver high-quality renewable energy projects across North Queensland. We're a locally owned electrical and mechanical contractor delivering projects across North Queensland. With strong existing commercial, residential and maintenance divisions, we're growing our solar and battery offering. This is an opportunity to join an established business with existing systems, vehicles, admin support and workflow already in place — while helping shape a growing division.
About the Role
You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality solar installations across residential and light commercial projects throughout Townsville and surrounding regions.
Works will include:
* Installation of residential solar PV systems
* Battery storage installations
* Inverter installations and replacements
* Switchboard upgrades and compliance works
* Fault finding and rectification of existing systems
* System commissioning and testing
* Working safely at heights and maintaining site compliance
* Completing required documentation and handover paperwork
Assisting with growth of ACG's renewable division
What We're Looking For
* Current QLD Electrical Licence
* Current CEC/SAA Solar Accreditation (preferred)
* Experience installing solar PV systems
* Battery installation experience highly regarded
* Current driver's licence
* Working at Heights certification
* Strong understanding of electrical compliance requirements
* Ability to work independently and lead installations
* Professional presentation and strong customer communication skills
