The Department of Education Victoria is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work at a specialist school catering to students with intellectual disabilities, Autism, sensory and physical impairments, and associated conditions.
The successful candidate will deliver occupational therapy supports, assess student needs, and provide individual and group work within a specialist education setting.
This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and a proven capacity to manage a multidisciplinary team.
The position involves assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating occupational therapy supports, including sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor skill development, activities of daily living, and environmental adaptations.
