Medical Laboratory Technician Role
This exciting opportunity is available for a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team in a busy and diverse laboratory environment. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing a range of laboratory investigations and tests, applying established methods and procedures as directed.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Laboratory Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution with subjects relevant to pathology or medical laboratory operations. You will also have demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of pathology services within a discipline relevant to the department, including use of Laboratory Information Systems, Patient Systems and Quality Systems.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual who can work in a responsible and efficient manner, manage competing priorities to meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with customers and patients as well as clinical laboratory staff.

Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a range of laboratory investigations and tests (manual and automated) and technical tasks by applying established methods and procedures, as directed.
* Undertake other laboratory duties including preparation of materials and the maintenance of equipment in line with established laboratory processes, procedures and protocols.

Requirements:
