Our company seeks an IT professional to assume the role of senior system administrator.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Windows and Linux workstations, as well as EVDI physical infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot application functionality, crashes, and performance issues.
* Investigate user performance and collaborate with external teams to improve user experience.
* Provide remote end-user desktop support and assist customers with tier 2 incident resolution for Linux and Windows applications.
* Identify, analyze, and resolve system incidents with short-term and long-term solutions.
* Respond to escalated service desk team requests and communicate effectively with various individuals.
* Work well in small and large team environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Active directory administration
* DNS, DHCP, DFS, and LDAP knowledge
* Windows 10 and server 2012/2016 expertise
* Application troubleshooting skills for Outlook, Excel, Word, Java, and Internet Explorer
* Linux operating system understanding
* ServiceNow and NetTicketing process familiarity
