About the Role
We're seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team in Turramurra. In this role, you'll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You'll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
Responsibilities
* Deliver active support aligned with each client's goals and support plan
* Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)
* Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
* Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport
* Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders
* Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records
* Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
* Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines

Week 1
Monday – No Shift
Tuesday – 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM (4 Hours)
Wednesday – No Shift
Thursday – 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM (8 Hours)
Friday – 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM (5 Hours)
Saturday – No Shift
Sunday – No Shift
Total Hours week 1: 17
Week 2
Monday – No Shift
Tuesday – 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM (3.5 Hours)
Wednesday – No Shift
Thursday – 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM (5 Hours)
Friday – No Shift
Saturday – No Shift
Sunday – 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM (8 Hours)
Total Hours week 2: 16.5
Qualifications & Requirements
* Willing to work active night & sleepover shifts, weekends, and public holidays
* Hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles
* Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient
* Experience in disability support (preferred)
* Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable)
* First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check (if required for the role)
