Financial Control Accountant Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Financial Control Accountant to support our robust financial control processes. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy and compliance across the organization by delivering critical reporting and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure reconciliations using Oracle ARCS are accurate and timely, supporting compliance and reporting requirements.
* Collaborate with finance and business teams to meet month-end deliverables and resolve issues promptly.
* Contribute to statutory, regulatory, and management reporting, ensuring alignment with policies and standards.
* Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation and simplification of processes.
* Liaise with auditors and stakeholders to maintain strong governance and resolve audit actions effectively.
Requirements:
* Experience in financial services accounting, including general ledger and regulatory reporting.
* Proficiency with Oracle ARCS or similar reconciliation tools, and strong Excel skills.
* Ability to manage deadlines, solve problems, and deliver accurate outcomes under pressure.
* Strong communication skills to build relationships and collaborate across teams.
* A degree in Accounting or equivalent experience; CA/CPA accreditation (or working towards) is desirable.
