Academic Positions for Women in Engineering
We are inviting applications from women for full-time, continuing (tenure-track) academic positions across all levels within the following Schools:
* School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering;
* School of Civil Engineering;
* School of Computer Science;
* School of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
These positions are based in Sydney, Australia, with the possibility of flexible working arrangements. The successful candidates will be expected to develop an independent research program, engage in collaborative research within and beyond the University, contribute to curriculum development and delivery at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and provide leadership within the School and Faculty.
Requirements:
* A PhD in a relevant field. Applicants who have submitted their PhD for examination or expect to do so in the immediate future are also eligible to apply.
* Demonstrated strong track record in research appropriate to the discipline and level of appointment, with consideration for career disruptions.
* Proven ability to teach and support student learning using innovative and modern pedagogies.
* Outstanding communication skills and collegiality.
* High-level problem-solving skills with the capacity to address complex issues as they arise.
