Part of the family-owned Joval Group (est. 1963), this vertically integrated wine business has established global and domestic distribution networks, with impressive presence in both the on and off premise markets.The Senior Marketing Manager is a new role, created to support this growing portfolio. As a key member of the Joval Family Wines senior leadership team, you will be tasked with consolidating the strategic road map for the Joval Family Wines portfolio of brands. This includes the recent expansion of operations, increasing production at their new Southern Light Vineyards and winery in the Yarra Valley.Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director and also working closely with the Creative Director, your focus as Senior Marketing Manager will be on shaping portfolio and brand strategies, whilst advancing growth opportunities for the business. You will drive brand awareness, customer engagement and revenue growth. Based in the Abbotsford office, you will lead the brand team with your highly developed understanding of the wine industry and markets.Key ResponsibilitiesDynamic strategic planning and execution for the Joval Family Wines portfolioDevelopment of effective marketing strategies which strengthen consumer engagement and build brand loyaltyMentoring and supporting the marketing team to drive consumer engagement and volume growthRepresenting the brand portfolio as part of the senior leadership team (internal Board)Championing NPD and committing to deliver innovative new projectsBuilding and nurturing relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to enhance brand visibilityManaging marketing budgets, ensuring effective use of resources to maximize ROI and business growthJob Requirements7+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably within wine, drinks or luxury brands. Deep knowledge of both on and off premise is a huge advantageProven ability to drive sales growth. You can build consumer connection and loyalty across market segments and have delivered tangible resultsStrong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating marketing teams to promotion and successA passion for the wine industry and an understanding of current trends in both the Australian and international marketsExcellent communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to engage and influence key stakeholders to ensure cross-functional alignment and collaboration
