A well-established and highly regarded Gold Coast firm is looking for a Practice Manager to join their team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role at a firm with outstanding staff retention and a supportive, family-like culture.
As Practice Manager, you will be a central figure in the practice, providing key support to the Partners in managing the firm's financial operations, human resources, and business operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the firm runs smoothly and efficiently while contributing to its continued growth and success.
This role is full-time and in-office, offering a great deal of variety and responsibility, with the opportunity to drive change and implement improvements across various departments. You will have the support of an experienced Assistant to help you achieve the smooth day to day running of this reputable firm.
Your key responsibilities:
* Oversee financial management activities, including trust account management, preparation of financial statements, and regular reporting to the Partners.
* Recruitment and HR
* Lead operations management, with a focus on marketing, business development, liaising with external service providers, and ensuring that all systems are in place for smooth business operations.
* Assist with the development and execution of the firm's growth strategy, including identifying and implementing opportunities for operational efficiencies.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including managing the firm's insurances, equipment, and IT services.

* Proven experience in a practice management role within a law firm.
* Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, reporting, and trust account management.
* Excellent human resources experience, including staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
* A solid understanding of operations management, including marketing, business development, and IT management.
* Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and staff.
* A proactive attitude with a solutions-driven approach to problem-solving.
