Responsibilities
* Write, edit and present high quality news for our Regional Victorian listeners.
* Conduct and edit interviews for inclusion in local news bulletins.
* Collaborate with our regional news team to assist with story and bulletin production.
* Present bulletins on-air for regional Victorian markets.
* Write, edit and publish news stories for station websites.
* Report from the field and attend media conferences, doorstops, police incidents and other news events as required.
Qualifications
* Strong on-air presentation and writing skills.
* Tertiary qualification in journalism or communications.
* Understanding of the law as it relates to media, particularly in the areas of Defamation and Contempt of Court.
* A passion for news and a workable understanding of sport.
