This role is ideal for a results-driven professional passionate about the swine industry and eager to leverage their expertise in account management and business development.A critical component of this position is the ability to build and maintain strong commercial relationships with Pig Producers, Veterinary Consultants, and other industry stakeholders. You will spend significant time in-field, driving the adoption of our innovative solutions and ensuring market growth.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & PlanningDevelop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans in coordination with the Commercial Manager – Meat Value Chain and Technical Marketing Manager – Swine.Conduct quarterly business reviews with key customers and plan the implementation of upcoming programs.Identify new business opportunities with end users/Pig Producers.Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer developments.Establish and maintain strategic relationships with Key Industry Influencers (KIIs) and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).Sales & Business DevelopmentAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales revenue targets.Develop tailored sales strategies for key pig producers across Australia.Monitor and optimise distribution channels to align with company objectives.Deliver on-farm training and technical support in collaboration with the Technical Team.Relationship ManagementBuild and strengthen relationships with End Users, Resellers, Veterinarians, and Corporate Contacts.Resolve customer claims, complaints, and account adjustments promptly.Support credits and collections to maintain strong financial performance.Team Collaboration & Technical SupportWork closely with the Technical and Marketing teams to promote and distribute the full Swine product range.Execute targeted technical strategies to demonstrate the productivity benefits of our solutions.About YouRequired Skills & ExperienceTertiary qualification in Agriculture, Business, Veterinary Science, or Animal Science (preferred).Proven experience in Key Account Management (KAM) within the agricultural sector.Swine industry expertise is essential, with knowledge of Australian swine production systems highly desirable.Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to develop and implement business growth strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data-driven decision-making.Experience working with CRM systems to document sales activities.Capacity to manage extensive occupational travel across Australia.What We OfferAutonomy and support within a leading global Animal Health company.Opportunities for professional development and career progression.A collaborative and innovative team environment.Flexibility and exposure to new skillsets and industry expertise.If you're ready to make an impact in the swine industry and drive growth in an exciting market, we’d love to hear from you!We are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing diverse, talented, and committed people together.
