This position has become available as our current Director is moving into a new career.
We are seeking a Director who is passionate about the provision of quality early education and care, and who has the skills, values, experience and knowledge to successfully lead our not-for-profit long day care early learning centre located in Coffs Harbour NSW.
This position may be full-time or part-time depending on your and our needs.
It is our preference that the successful applicant is also able to fill the role of Early Childhood Teacher (holding or actively working towards a Bachelor) within our Service, but we are open to some flexibility around this.
About Us
Our Service is rated Exceeding under the National Quality Standards. Hands and Hearts is a long day centre currently catering for up to 25 children per day. Children who attend our Centre are aged from 6 months to 5 years of age. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 7am – 6pm.

About You
The successful applicant will be a positive, dedicated professional who has:
* The skills and knowledge to ensure the Service's delivery of excellent education and care for children.
* The skills and knowledge to ensure the service's compliance with the National Quality Framework, Law and Regulations, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
* Excellent time management and attention to detail skills.
* Excellent leadership skills; contributing to and maintaining our kind, supportive and professional workplace culture; ensuring quality and implementing continuous quality improvement; and managing the day to day operations of the Centre.
* The ability to lead and mentor a team of committed and passionate early childhood professionals.
* Bachelor qualified or working towards Bachelor qualification is highly desirable, however Diploma qualified applicants may be considered.
* Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis and Child Protection training.
* Current Working with Children Check.
