About the Company:
We are delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded veterinary provider to recruit an experienced payroll administrator for their team. This role provides a unique prospect to work in a fully remote payroll position. The successful candidate will provide support to the wider business and ensure the efficient running of the payroll function.
About the Role:
- Provide and support a comprehensive and professional service in delivery of fortnightly payroll.
- Work closely with acquired practices to gain an understanding of their current payroll processes and penalty structures.
- Work closely with Payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate delivery of payroll data and reports.
- Testing of Payroll award - build compliance and governance controls.
- Process fortnightly and ad hoc payrolls for a growing workforce, including new joiners, adjustments, leave tracking, processing, and reporting.
- Other payroll related tasks as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous payroll experience in an end to end role is essential.
- Extensive experience of managing data through the use of MS Excel and queries through Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Australia payroll across all states.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to support all stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, ability to prioritise and work to set timescales.
- Problem solving & advising employees on queries in a professional manner.
- High degree of discretion and confidentiality.
