The Company Our client is a leading provider of mechanical services and infrastructure solutions across Australia. They are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator – Prefabrication to join their prefabrication team in Western Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of modular construction and prefabrication within a high-performing environment. The Role Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and quality assurance of prefabricated modules and associated mechanical components within the prefab workshop, as well as on project sites when required. This role acts as a vital link between internal stakeholders, external steel fabricators, mechanical suppliers and site teams to ensure prefabricated modules are manufactured, assembled and installed, ensuring project milestones are met. Key Responsibilities Production Oversight: Maintain oversight of all in house prefabricated modules in production, as well as multiple external fabricators and track the readiness of mechanical services components required for prefab modules. Logistics & Planning: Assist with planning and tracking modules from fabrication through to delivery and site installation, including the maintenance of accurate tracking registers. Quality Assurance: Plan, organise and conduct quality inspections of fabricated components at supplier workshops, as well as inhouse completed modules prior to delivery. Site Interface: Attend construction sites to verify that installed modules comply with drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise professionally with project managers, site managers, and subcontractors to resolve fabrication or programme issues. About You You are a detail-oriented professional with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. You have the ability to work collaboratively across office, factory, and site environments while managing multiple concurrent tasks. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Background: Trade, technical, engineering, or construction management background (tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience). Experience: Experience in a construction, prefabrication, or manufacturing environment, mechanical services or structural steel preferred. Skills: Demonstrated experience supporting project coordination and quality inspections. Licence: A current and valid Australian Driver’s Licence is mandatory, as regular travel to sites is required. Safety: A strong commitment to workplace health and safety and a sound understanding of quality assurance principles.
