Position Description Sync Lift Engineering are expanding, and we are growing our team in Gladstone.
We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join the team and help grow our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring we attract, hire, and retain top industry talent.
Responsibilities Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for trade and blue-collar positions. Conduct thorough candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on effective recruitment strategies. Manage and grow the talent pipeline and monitor labour resources to keep projects on track and delivered on time. Conduct reference checks and verify employment history to ensure the accuracy and validity of candidate information. Issue contracts for employment and onboarding paperwork to new candidates prior to collaborating with the onboarding team, to ensure effective handover and onboarding of new employees. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and offer management. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment. Collaborate with the HR and Operations team to continuously improve recruitment and onboarding policies, procedures, and documentation. About you Minimum 2 years recruitment experience or similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders at all levels. Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines while thriving in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF and Teams. Previous experience with Employment Hero is desirable. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing priorities.
