Job Description:
City of Gold Coast is seeking a skilled Safety and Signage Technician to join their team.
This role involves the installation of signage, road and pavement line marking, removing obstacles blocking Council signage, setting up work sites, and completing risk assessments and compliance with Austroads manual and City's Safe Work Methods Statements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily tasks as part of the Signs and Lines crew.
Key responsibilities include:
* Installation of signage in compliance with Austroads manual
* Installation of road and pavement line marking
* Removing any objects that block Council signage
* Setting up worksite to comply with Austroads manual
* Completion of risk assessments and compliance with the City's Safe Work Methods Statements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, have experience in laboring, hold a construction white card, and have a MR license.
The following qualifications are mandatory:
* Construction white card
* MR licence
* 6-8 months experience labouring
