A dynamic opportunity for a Facilities professional to make meaningful impact.

We are seeking an energetic and proactive Facilities Coordinator at SuniTAFE who will play a hands‑on role managing the day‑to‑day operation of buildings, grounds, fleet and security systems across all campuses. The role will be based at the Mildura Campus, working closely with internal stakeholders and service providers, support preventative maintenance planning, record keeping, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager – Facilities & Assets, this role will coordinate maintenance, cleaning and facilities services, supervise staff and contractors, and manage purchasing, invoicing and compliance activities. Key responsibilities include:

* Oversee day-to-day operations of SuniTAFE's facilities, grounds, cleaning and maintenance services through proactive coordination and risk mitigation.
* Supervise grounds and building maintenance team, along with cleaners and facilities support staff.
* Manage contractors and vendors for repairs and cleaning ensuring compliance with budgets, Service Level Agreements (SLA), and Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
* Oversee effective monitoring of the ticketing system for the purpose of assigning, creating and escalating requests for facilities maintenance.
* Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end process for managing Institute fleet vehicles across all campuses e.g. obtaining quotations, purchasing, leasing, maintenance, disposal, etc.
* Coordinate insurance claims for facility/fleet incidents.
* Conduct regular risk assessments for facilities/grounds, addressing hazards and ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation.
* Develop and enforce a robust security access protocol for all Institute locations, ensuring the safety and security of staff and assets.
