Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join our team and lead the delivery of a major construction project in Cairns. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating tradespeople, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project milestones.
The role involves directing and managing a crew, allocating duties, monitoring attendance, and coordinating tasks to ensure efficiency. They will also be responsible for inspecting work to ensure it meets design plans, building codes, and client expectations, enforcing Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) standards, and conducting regular site safety checks.
To succeed in this role, you will need hands-on site experience, strong leadership and people management skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities. You should also have a thorough knowledge of relevant safety regulations and be able to ensure compliance on the worksite.
Key Responsibilities:
