Overview
Role: Student Support Coordinator
Department: Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice. Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available).
Responsibilities
* Manage undergraduate, postgraduate and international administration and services for students and academic staff on student and course related matters.
* Provide strategic support aligned with the Faculty's goals, ensuring compliance with university policies, systems and procedures.
* Supervise a team of student support staff to deliver high quality administration support and specialist services to achieve client service excellence.
What you need to succeed
* Education, training and/or experience equivalent to completion of a degree with at least four years' subsequent relevant experience.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a high performing team of client service staff and plan/manage resources for peak periods.
* Initiative, ability to contribute ideas, evaluate current systems, and contribute to ongoing improvements in student and academic services at a strategic level.
* High level written communication skills for diverse clients.
* High level interpersonal skills to liaise across a large organisation.
* Ability to work across organisational boundaries to ensure high quality client service.
* Knowledge of data management systems and analytical/digital skills including Microsoft Office Suite and SAMS.
Remuneration and Location
Remuneration: $122,852 to $134,385 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $103,811 to $113,557 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)
