About the position
We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to lead our HSIE Department, with responsibility for stage 6 Business and Legal Studies. This leadership role is ideal for a dynamic teacher who demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge, strategic thinking, and a commitment to academic excellence and student wellbeing.
Key Selection Criteria
Provide leadership and direction for Business Studies and Legal Studies across Years 7–12
Lead curriculum planning, assessment, and compliance with NESA requirements
Support, mentor, and develop HSIE teaching staff
Analyse student data to improve teaching practice and academic outcomes
Contribute to whole-school initiatives, leadership meetings, and strategic planning
Model high standards of professional practice and classroom teaching
