Job Description
This role supports the delivery of compliant and high-quality asphalt and sealing works by assisting with quality assurance activities, documentation, and inspections which are compliant with internal systems, client specifications and Australian Standards.
The ROLE
* Assists in implementing and maintaining quality assurance (QA) processes across asphalt production and sealing operations.
* Participates in routine site and plant inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements.
* Assists with verifying workmanship standards for asphalt paving, sealing preparation, spraying and finishing activities.
* Supports the identification, reporting, and tracking of non-conformances and corrective actions.
* Assists in preparing and collating project quality records and handover documentation.
* Promotes awareness of quality requirements across operational teams.
* Ensures that all activities are completed in a safe and efficient way

Desired Skills and Experience
About YOU
* Relevant experience in construction industry (highly desirable).
* Knowledge of engineering principals to maximise safety and minimise defects.
* Practical knowledge of regulatory governance, legislative requirements, codes of practice and compliance requirements.
* Good communication skills both written and verbal to effectively with customers, colleagues and management.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Office software including Microsoft Project.
Must haves
* Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Construction Industry White Card
* Full working rights in Australia
