We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a qualified professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across residential and commercial sites.
* Preparing surfaces by sanding, filling gaps, repairing imperfections, removing outdated paint or wallpaper, and restoring timber elements is crucial in ensuring a smooth and even finish.
* Applying paints, stains, varnishes, and specialized protective coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment requires great attention to detail and a thorough understanding of various painting techniques.
* Mixing, tinting, and adjusting paints to achieve accurate colour and finish requirements involves a combination of artistry and technical expertise.
* Installing wallpaper and decorative coverings, ensuring clean edges and proper pattern alignment, requires precision and attention to detail.
* Setting up ladders, access equipment, and protective materials to maintain clean and safe work areas is essential for the well-being of our staff and clients alike.
* Carrying out minor repair work such as patching surfaces and restoring timber or window frames demonstrates your ability to think on your feet and adapt to unexpected situations.
* Maintaining all painting tools, spray systems, and equipment, and ensuring work areas are cleaned and organized after completion reflects your commitment to efficiency and productivity.
* Adhering to WHS standards across residential and commercial sites is a non-negotiable aspect of this role, and we expect all candidates to demonstrate a strong understanding of workplace safety protocols.

Key Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in painting and decorating
