- $600+ per day + superannuation

**Role details**
The Service Design and Improvement Branch improves internal service delivery processes and systems to enhance participant experiences. The EL1 (equivalent) Scrum Master is responsible for complex work that improves the agency's service functions. This position involves resolving issues, managing risks, and supporting team leadership. The Scrum Master also coordinates and takes on detailed or sensitive projects with strategic or operational implications.
**Key Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Managing project scope and timeline.
- Working in line with the Agile project approach.
- Coordinating sprints and retrospective meetings which review the previous project and daily scrum stand-ups.
- Coaching team members in agile frameworks and scrum practices.
- Working with product owners to develop and handle product backlogs and new requests.
- Guiding development teams to higher scrum maturity.
- Helping to build a productive environment where team members have accountability for the product.
- Managing the governance of the project against Agency frameworks and escalating concerns, as necessary.
**Key Skills Required**
- Experience in managing project scope and timeline.
- Able to be flexible in undertaking duties to support the squad.
- Agile Coaching: Skill in coaching team members on Agile frameworks and Scrum practices, guiding them towards adopting and implementing Agile methodologies effectively.
- Coordinating sprints and retrospective meetings which review the previous project and daily scrum stand-ups.
- Project Governance: Managing project governance in alignment with Agency frameworks, ensuring compliance and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Project Management: The ability to effectively manage project scope and timelines, ensuring deliverables are completed within set parameters.
