**Your role will include**:
- Leading the payroll team to work cohesively to reach key outcomes & objectives
- Provide advice and support to all team members
- Lead regular team meetings to ensure the team functions effectively and efficiently
- Liaising & collaborating with all relevant stakeholders to ensure effective workflow
**Essential**:
- Minimum of 5 years in payroll processing and payroll management
- Strong understanding of Time & Attendance based payroll and use of T&A systems
- Solid Microsoft Excel & Word experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical ability to problem solve
- Strong networking and stakeholder relationship skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to and to manage the deadlines required of the team
- In depth understanding of payroll legislation and processes
- Customer service focus
***Desirable**:
- Demonstrated competencies in and an understanding of the Aged Care, Retirement Living or Not-for-Profit Sectors, or alternatively a high-volume transactional environment.
- Experience in Epicor and SQL database.
