As our Facility Manager, you will take ownership of all aspects of the centre's operations, from day-to-day management to team leadership, programs, and customer experience. This is a unique opportunity to lead a vibrant facility and bring your ideas to life in a close-knit regional community.
What You'll Do
Lead and manage all facility operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional service standards
Supervise and develop a diverse team across customer service, swim instructors, and lifeguards
Lead and support in-water programs, maintaining high teaching standards from infants to squads, fostering a culture of engagement, progression, and excellence
Support the team and engage with families from the Pool Deck
Drive community engagement and participation through innovative programs and events
Manage budgets, reporting, and operational planning
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and overall facility presentation
About You
Proven experience in facility management, recreation, or similar
Ability to work at least one day at the weekend, our peak time
Strong leadership and people management skills
Hands-on approach – you're not afraid to get involved in all aspects of operations
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Passionate about creating positive experiences for your community

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must hold, or be willing to obtain, a Paid Blue Card, as well as qualifications in:
Pool Lifeguard
CPR and First Aid
Swim Teaching and Water Safety
Aquatic Technical Officer
