Seeking a hands-on practical Team Leader to promote and maintain a positive team culture and lead a small dynamic team in a family owned and operated Australian company. With a diverse range of projects, clients and locations throughout South Australia, it is a rewarding and engaging working setting.
Sambec Sheds is a construction company based in Murray Bridge, with over 60 years experience in the building industry. Sambec specialises in the construction of large farming, commercial and industrial buildings throughout South Australia. We are seeking a self-motivated experienced working team leader.
Responsibilities
* Lead and motivate team members; demonstrate a hands-on practical approach and lead by example.
* Promote and maintain a positive team culture; manage a small dynamic team.
* Read and interpret plans and specifications.
* Read and interpret plans and specifications.
* Prioritise, organise and handle more than one task at a time; read and interpret plans and specifications.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Solid understanding and competency in building and construction projects; broad technical knowledge of the building industry is desirable.
* Hands-on practical approach with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Good decision-making ability; ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
* Current valid driver's licence and willingness to travel; ability to work outdoors.
* Team leadership and people management skills.
* Experience: Building – 2 years (preferred).
* Licence/Certification: Full Driver Licence (preferred).
* Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred).
Job Details
* Job Types: Full-time, Subcontract, Contract.
* Schedule: Monday to Friday.
* Supplemental pay types: Monthly bonus.
* Work Location: In person.
