Enjoy a role where you can share in the delight of creating nutritious and delicious meals for our young learners at Green Leaves Early Learning. As Chef of our Seaford Heights Centre, you greet families each morning with a friendly smile and barista‐made coffee and treat, orchestrate exciting menus for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, and manage all kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
* Use culinary expertise to plan an interesting and exciting menu for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old.
* Prepare a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, adapting meals to meet dietary requirements for babies and children.
* Manage the kitchen autonomously, ensuring effective stock rotation, budgeting, and shopping.
* Ensure the highest level of food safety and supervision in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards.
* Mentor and guide a kitchen hand in a professional environment, delivering high‐quality food and service.
* Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside educators for our littlest learners.

Qualifications
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
* Current SA Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Current SA Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain).
* Current HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain).
* National Child Safety Training (or willingness to obtain).
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months (or willingness to obtain).
* Extraordinary verbal, written, and time‐management skills.
* Availability to work from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.
