Short Description

In this role, you will be responsible for test strategies and plans based on project requirements. This will also involve leading test execution and defect management. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining an automation framework using Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured, etc. You should be a good mentor and guide the team members. You will also contribute in creating solutions and approaches for proposals on QA for our customers.

About the Role

Bendigo Bank is seeking a highly experienced Senior SuccessFactors Employee Central Consultant with strong Australia Payroll expertise to support HR transformation initiatives across the bank. This role will lead EC configuration, AU payroll compliance, integrations, and drive continuous improvement within a regulated banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead configuration and support for SuccessFactors Employee Central and EC Payroll (Australia).
* Design and maintain data models, workflows, business rules, position management, and time off.
* Ensure compliance with Australian payroll legislation including Fair Work, PAYG, Superannuation, Awards/Agreements, and Single Touch Payroll (STP).
* Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Compliance, and Audit teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with Bendigo Bank's governance framework.
* Manage integrations with Finance, Time, Identity Management, and payroll‐related systems.
* Perform quarterly release analysis, regression testing, and system optimization activities.
* Prepare documentation, SOPs, configuration guides, and deliver end‐user training.

Required Experience

* 10+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience with a strong focus on Employee Central.
* Demonstrated expertise in EC Payroll Australia or deep AU payroll rules and compliance.
* Experience in banking or highly regulated sectors is preferred.
* Strong understanding of superannuation, leave entitlements, pay components, tax rules, and awards/enterprise agreements.
* Experience with SAP CPI or similar middleware for integrations.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‐solving skills.

Other Experience

* Actively provides solutions for any technical issues and challenges.
* Preparation of quality key project artefacts/deliverables including detailed design, UT & ST test cases, runsheet & back‐out plans.
* Play lead role in supporting SIT, UAT & BVT, and change requests.
* Experience in IT service management including risk management.

Qualifications

* SuccessFactors Employee Central certification (mandatory).
* EC Payroll or EC Time Off certification preferred.
* Experience working in agile delivery environments is an advantage.
