Salary range: $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

About your opportunity
In this role you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical areas including acute wards and rehabilitation settings. Supervision will be provided to optimise clinical and professional skill development and learning. Professional development opportunities are also available to enhance clinical experience. You will be working in a supportive and friendly department where autonomy and innovation are highly valued, and ongoing learning and professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported.
Working in a tertiary teaching hospital with links to James Cook University, you will have access to academic resources and potential research collaborations, further enhancing your professional growth and development.
Requirements
The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in social work that provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Team members rotate across clinical areas and campuses, contribute to the Emergency Clinical On-call Roster (30-minute response time), and work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
