Contract
18‐month contract, open to Sydney, Melbourne or Perth. Hybrid work model; energy discounts; career growth opportunities.
What you'll do
* Lead group financial reporting and consolidation under AASB/IFRS
* Manage month‐end processes and group consolidation activities
* Review consolidated financial statements for accuracy and completeness
* Prepare statutory, interim and group financial reports under AASB/IFRS
* Act as the technical accounting SME, preparing position papers as required
* Coordinate external audits and support Audit & Risk Committee reporting
* Lead continuous improvement across reporting processes and controls
* Support finance systems and consolidation tools, including Oracle FCSS
Your experience
* CA qualified with 8+ years' commercial experience
* Big 4 or similar professional services background
* Strong experience preparing consolidated group financial statements
* Deep technical accounting knowledge, including derivatives and hedging
* Experience with business combinations and complex transactions
* Proven ability to prepare papers for senior stakeholders or boards
* Advanced Excel skills and ability to work autonomously
