About the role
The Senior Psychologist plays a key role in providing expert knowledge and advice to initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate the Department's Employee Psychology Services. Additionally, the role is responsible for leading and redeveloping existing programs as required.
This position requires a registered psychologist with postgraduate experience in both organisational and clinical fields, particularly in workplace mental health. Experience in delivering Employee Assistance Programs and managing external providers is highly desired.
Furthermore, the role involves providing advice to site leaders and people managers, requiring the ability to address sensitive and complex mental health issues in workplace settings.
Qualifications
Essential:
Must be a fully registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Minimum of 5 years' experience post full registration with AHPRA. Experience in the provision of Employee Wellbeing and Psychology Services
Desirable: NIL
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
AHP3 $108,347 - $116,216 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) + leave loading and applicable allowances.
