About the role 
Sydney-based Account Executive (New Business) owning NSW. This is a pure hunter role: open doors, build pipeline, and close new logos for finance transformation programs that combine SaaS platforms (planning/EPM, consolidation, analytics, close automation) with consulting services (roadmap, design/build, implementation, enablement). No channel dependency—your outreach, your meetings, your wins. SDR and marketing support exist, but consistent self-sourcing is expected. 
Responsibilities 
- New logo acquisition: Own the NSW territory and ICP; no renewals or account management. 
- Pipeline creation: Prospect daily (email/phone/LinkedIn/events) and maintain 3–4× coverage in HubSpot. 
- First meetings: Book and run exec discovery with CFO/Finance & Data leaders; convert to multi-threaded opportunities. 
- Deal leadership: Shape solution outlines, run evaluations, structure SaaS terms + phased SoWs, navigate security/legal/procurement, and close. 
- Handover: Set delivery up for success with clear assumptions, risks, milestones, and success metrics. 
- CRM hygiene: Keep HubSpot fully current—notes, next steps, stage changes, forecast, and attachments. 
Skills & experience 
- 2–6+ years closing current logos, selling both consulting and SaaS (ERP/EPM/analytics/finance systems/data platforms or similar). 
- Demonstrated self-sourced wins (not channel-led); confident running multi-stakeholder cycles to signature. 
- Executive communication with CFO/Finance & Data leaders; strong negotiation and follow-through. 
- Experience with HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator; disciplined cadence and activity. 
- Nice to have (not required): Exposure to planning/EPM, consolidation/close, or modern data platforms; experience in multi-entity, multi-currency finance environments. 
KPIs & success profile 
- Meetings: ≥2 qualified exec meetings/week from your own activity (on top of SDR/marketing). 
- Pipeline: 3× coverage by Day 90; accurate, inspectable stages and next steps in HubSpot. 
- Outcomes: First signed SoW + software order within 3–6 months; 2+ referenceable wins in year one.
