The role As the Chief Human Resources Officer, you can play an important role in supporting the Department and the broader public health system through leading the delivery of high quality support and advice by the HR Branch. Reporting to the Deputy Director-General, Corporate Services Division you will have a role of influence as you partner closely with the Department of Health's leadership team, the Minister for Health and the Chief Executives of the Hospital and Health Services to translate strategies to contemporary HR initiatives to support a highly engaged workforce.
Leading a large team of HR professionals, you will be a values based leader and drive a HR partnering approach delivering all human resource and industrial relations matters across the Department of Health, covering over 6000 employees.

Tertiary qualifications and post-graduate studies would be well regarded as too will be an understanding of industry opportunities and challenges.
