Job Description
The Training Design Consultant plays a vital role in helping Lifebroker people thrive through change at TAL. Sitting at the heart of learning and transformation, this role shapes learning experiences that enable teams to feel confident, capable and ready for what's next. As TAL continues to evolve its technology and ways of working, the Training Design Consultant helps turn change into clarity—supporting our people to deliver their best for partners and customers when it matters most. In This Role You Will
* Design high‐quality, job‐ready learning solutions that enable Lifebroker teams to perform confidently through change.
* Translate business and project impacts into clear, targeted learning experiences for affected employee groups.
* Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to shape learning that is accurate, relevant and fit for purpose.
* Embed sound instructional design principles to deliver engaging learning across appropriate delivery channels.
* Ensure all training solutions meet TAL's quality, risk and due‐diligence standards.
* Enable sustainable capability uplift by supporting effective knowledge transfer and trainer readiness.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in learning and training design, with hands‐on capability across the end‐to‐end instructional design lifecycle (typically gained over several years).
* Strong instructional design capability, with experience developing and facilitating clear, engaging and job‐ready learning to agreed standards.
* Confidence working in project or change environments, with an understanding of how learning supports staged or phased delivery.
* Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or technical information for a range of audiences.
* Well‐developed planning and organisation skills, enabling multiple deliverables to be managed while maintaining accuracy and quality.
* Collaborative, relationship‐focused approach, with experience navigating large or complex organisations and cross‐functional stakeholder groups.
