Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administration Officer to join our team. This is a casual role in Council's Media and Communications Unit.
* Provide professional communication support for the council, including drafting media releases, newsletters, social media posts, and briefing materials, as well as coordinating approval and distribution.
* Help manage public and media enquiries relating to council initiatives, events and policies, ensuring consistent, accurate and reputationally sound messaging across all communication channels.
* Maintain and ensure accuracy of systems, registers and databases.
* Proactively provide input into the development, implementation, monitoring and continual improvement of processes and service delivery.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software. They will also require a Certificate III Business Administration or other equivalent qualifications or experience.
