Key Responsibilities
Ensures the quality of the final product through testing and manufacturing controls; review and approve final product documentation
Assists in monitoring, collating, analyzing, and presenting quality data as it relates to manufacturing processes.
Initiate or approve non-conformance reports, lead investigations, and manage corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).
Raise quality issues on any processes or product which is not conforming to requirements.
Serve as quality liaison with engineering, operations, regulatory, and clinical teams for product rollouts and compliance matters.
Education
Bachelor's degree in engineering or the physical sciences.
Skills and Experience
Ideal candidate in a manufacturing environment in medical devices, pharmaceutical, optics, automotive, aerospace, etc. highly regulated industries.
Minimum 4 years quality management experience in MTO quality operations role.
ISO **** – highly preferred, ISO ***** most preferred.
Experience in NCR process (control of non-conforming product) and communicating with engineers and production team on CAPA process (Corrective and preventive).
Technical background in mechanical/technical drawings, operational quality.
Able to interpret mechanical drawings (GD&T) – nice to have.
