Key Role: Assistant Store Manager
We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager in our Maroochydore team. This key position involves supporting the Store Manager in driving overall store performance through the creation of a customer-centric culture, strong sales drive, and people-first approach that prioritizes succession and retention.
Responsibilities:
* People Management
o Develop a culture valuing employee development, collaboration, transparency, and open communication
o Lead, coach, and support the store team to achieve goals in people, performance, planning, and operations
o Provide regular and effective feedback for professional development and internal progression
o Support recruitment and induction processes to reduce turnover and ensure team development
* Store Performance
o Ensure excellent customer experience using best practices and customer service techniques
o Main point of contact and manager on duty during Store Manager's absence
o Drive and maintain sales performance within the store aligning with retail goals and KPIs
o Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities and take decisive action
o Conduct weekly store walks with the Store Manager to discuss opportunities and develop actions
o Ensure team meets customer sign-up KPIs as expected
