Due to consistent and projected growth we currently have an opportunity within our expanding Civil Services division for an experienced Project Manager who is committed to providing the best possible outcomes for their customer whilst managing a number of priorities at once.
Based in Glenorchy, this role will see you working on site and close to day-to-day operations. You will report directly to the Manager Civil Services and have access to the expertise of experienced knowledgeable support staff:
Key accountabilities include:
· Planning, coordination, and execution of civil construction projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring delivery against scope, program, and quality requirements.
· Ensuring all project activities comply with WHS, environmental, and statutory obligations, including the implementation and monitoring of site-specific safety and environmental management plans.
· Ensuring all works comply with contract specifications, Australian Standards and client requirements.
· Ownership of project financial performance, including budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and management of variations to ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters.
· Conduct complex tender reviews, detailed estimating and bid strategy development to support successful tender outcomes.
· Providing accurate and timely reporting on project progress, risks, and performance, while maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders and clients to support informed decision-making.
About you:
Relevant Civil Engineering or Project Management qualification.
Strong demonstrated Project Management and Leadership experience with a Safety first approach.
A successful track record of delivering civil construction projects on time and on budget
Strong internal and external stakeholder.
Ability to work collaboratively within a complex and diverse environment.
The ability to drive and motivate team and project performance delivery.
Sound influencing, negotiation and resilience skills.
