About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our team at our site near Rockhampton. The successful applicant will have good mechanical aptitude and a willingness for ongoing training.
The role requires working as part of a small team of maintenance tradespeople, with good levels of autonomy and varied work including repair, preventative maintenance, fabrication, and mobile plant assistance.
This is a day shift Monday to Friday role, with some Saturdays required. The ability to be available for unplanned breakdowns, with accrued overtime, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of crushing and screening equipment, milling, sound welding, and fabrication skills
* Ensuring high standards of Quality, Health and Safety, and Environmental requirements
* Working effectively as part of a team
