Base pay range
A$90,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yr
The Role
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing onsite technical support and maintenance services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair specialised equipment at customer sites.
* Perform service maintenance.
* Actively engage in preventative maintenance visits, addressing breakdowns.
* Provide on‑call support outside regular hours on a rotational basis.
* Prepare detailed job‑related reports.
* Provide feedback, solutions, and initiatives to all key stakeholders.
* Maintain and improve customer relationships to foster collaboration, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Adhere to safety procedures and relevant environmental standards.
About You
* Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Trade qualification.
* Electrical License.
* Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
* Working experience in an electrical or automation discipline, preferably with experience in the conveyors or automation.
* Strong work ethic coupled with a high attention to detail.
* Strong mechanical aptitude.
* Outstanding customer service and ability to adjust your style based on the needs of the customer.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient knowledge and experience using technology including mobile communications, applications, and other computer‑based systems (MS, Email, Internet).
* Hold a valid driver's license.
