About the Role
We're partnering with a leading national retailer to recruit a HR Administrator to join their Shared Services team during a busy peak period. This is a great prospect to gain experience in a high-volume, fast-paced HR environment within a well-known organisation.
* You'll be part of a small specialist team within a larger advisory function, supporting time and attendance management across store operations.
* The role focuses on managing weekly exceptions and system updates, ensuring accurate workforce data and supporting store leaders with day-to-day HR queries.
* You'll also assist with broader advisory support including simple recruitment and benefits‐related queries, working in a high‐volume, process‐driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage time & attendance exceptions in system (weekly processing)
* Support resolution of workforce scheduling and attendance issues
* Respond to basic HR advisory queries (recruitment, benefits, general support)
* Communicate with store leaders via phone and written channels
* Support high‐volume processing during peak operational periods
* Ensure accurate data entry and system updates
About You
* Entry‐level opportunity – ideal for someone looking to start a career in HR/shared services
* Strong communication skills – confident on the phone and in writing
* Tech‐savvy with ability to quickly learn recent systems (Kronos experience highly regarded but not essential)
* Comfortable working in a rapid‐paced, high‐volume environment
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
* Positive, team‐focused attitude with a proactive approach
Role Details
Temporary Contract (4‐month) with possibility to extend.
Training: 2‐week full time onboarding (in office).
Location: Eight Mile Plains.
Work model
* 4 days per week in office during training - Minimum 2 days per week in office thereafter - Roster: Tuesday – Friday
