We're looking for reliable, motivated, and team-oriented individuals to join ISS and support the Defence base at RAAF Pearce in a variety of essential support service roles.
Available Positions
Line Chefs
Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality meals across Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner—while proudly upholding ISS's reputation for excellence and creating memorable dining experiences that exceed expectations.
* Casual weekend roles are available at present - with a strong possibility of permanent opportunities coming up soon.
* Ongoing support and training with opportunities to grow within a large global company
* Mental, Financial and Physical health support programs
* Casual line chefs will be considered first for any full-time vacancies before external advertising
This is your chance to showcase your culinary skills in a rewarding role where safety, quality, and flavour come together in a unique setting.
* Head Chefs / Sous Chefs– Support meal preparation, service, and kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food and outstanding service.
About You
We're looking for people who:
Take pride in their work and attention to detail
Work well both independently and as part of a team
Have good communication and time management skills
Are reliable, professional, and positive in attitude
(Previous experience in cleaning, catering, or housekeeping is an advantage but not essential — full training is provided)
Minimum Requirements
* Australian Citizenship
* Current National Police Check
* Ability to obtain a pre-employment medical clearance (including Drug & Alcohol testing)
* Relevant trade qualifications (where applicable)
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or above
* Defence or military experience – highly desirable
* Open to obtaining a Defence Clearance through our process
