I'm working with a Brisbane‐based digital agency that's looking to bring on an SEO Lead to join their growing team. This is a highly technical, forward‐thinking role with a strong focus on AI‐driven SEO strategies, automation, and performance innovation.
* Minimum 4 years of experience specialising in SEO
* Salary up to $150K + Super (flexible depending on experience)
* Brisbane office location – Remote opportunity but MUST be able to commute to Brisbane occasionally
* Experience working with AI‐driven search strategies and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) is highly regarded

What You'll Be Doing
As the SEO Lead, you'll lead both the strategy and execution of advanced SEO initiatives across technical SEO, on‐page optimisation, content strategy, and organic growth. Working within an AI‐forward environment, you'll leverage emerging technologies, automation tools, and data‐driven insights to improve search visibility, user engagement, and overall digital performance. You'll take ownership of technical audits, keyword and intent analysis, site architecture, and performance reporting, while collaborating closely with content, development, and digital marketing teams to deliver integrated search strategies. The role will also involve exploring and implementing innovative approaches across AI‐powered search, automation, and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO), ensuring the business stays ahead of evolving search trends and platform changes.
Qualifications
* Minimum 4 years' experience specialising in SEO, with strong knowledge across technical, on‐page, and content‐led optimisation
* Strong technical SEO capabilities, including site audits, crawl optimisation, indexing, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals
* Experience developing and executing organic growth strategies with a solid understanding of evolving search trends
* Knowledge of AI‐driven search, automation tools, and emerging technologies within the SEO landscape
* Advanced experience using SEO and analytics platforms such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog
* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations
