About the role
The position of Head of House is responsible for the care, discipline, guidance and participation of students within their House, in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, values and policies of MacKillop Catholic College.
* Provide ongoing wellbeing and pastoral support for all students within your House.
* Be responsible to the Director of Pastoral Care for the care, discipline, guidance and participation of students within your House.
* Deliver quality Pastoral Care aligned with the College's vision of excellence, compassion and service.
* Mentor student leaders and foster a positive, inclusive culture.
* Collaborate with staff and families to ensure every student is known, supported and actively engaged in college life.
This includes collaborating effectively with staff, developing capacity in others through coaching and mentoring, as well as driving and leading change to build a culture of continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate wellbeing records in SEQTA, ensuring compliance with College protocols, and being a visible presence around the College to build positive connections with students.
