The Position The Person
* Measurement, estimating and cost planning for commercial construction
* Research estimates of equipment, materials and labour requirements
* Appreciate size of labour crews and the physical constraints of the site
* Trade quote evaluation and negotiation skills
* Cost and Value Engineering
* Tender preparation, submissions and Contract reviews
* Prepare Budgets
* Prepare work schedule programs using Microsoft Project (optional)
* Buildsoft Cubit estimating software
* Work as an integral team member
You will demonstrate;
* The ability to analyze, compare and interpret detailed specifications
* Ability to conceptualize project drawings / brief
* Effective problem-solving skills
* A building qualification
* Remuneration to reflect experience
* Demonstrated experience in construction projects ranging up to $15M+
* Outstanding organisation, measuring & communication skills

* Developed knowledge of construction methodology, buildability and the sequence of operations.
* Experience in customer relations
