About The Role
This role will form part of our administration team in our maintenance division – My Place Property Maintenance (MPPM). Reporting to the MPPM Operations Manager, the Maintenance Officer plays a key role in the delivery of planned and responsive maintenance works ensuring our properties are fit for purpose and meet the Home in Place asset standards.
* Ensuring maintenance activities are planned and scheduled in line with relevant time frames
* Allocating works for internal trades and subcontractors, including performance monitoring
* Reviewing job costings, invoices and documentation to ensure accuracy
* Processing job variations
* Issuing invoices on completion of jobs
About You
* Previous experience in scheduling trades or facilities management
* Experience with contractor relations
* Experience using a range of computer systems including Microsoft Office suite, finance systems and maintenance scheduling systems
* Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex and high-volume environment
* Excellent prioritisation, time management and resource allocation abilities
* Results focused with the ability to identify and prioritise problems and issues, generate solutions and work collaboratively to achieve a successful outcome
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
