We’re looking for a skilled and driven Plant Metallurgist to join our team at Iron Bridge.
Play a vital role in optimising plant performance by leading process improvements, guiding operations, and driving innovative solutions to enhance safety, efficiency, and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance plant performance
* Provide technical support and insights to the Operations team through data-driven analysis
* Lead and manage plant trials, test work programs, and performance evaluations
* Review and develop flowsheets, mass balances, and design documentation
* Oversee metallurgical accounting, consumables, and reporting
* Support commissioning and ramp-up activities across the facility
* Assist with incident investigations and the development of corrective actions
Qualifications And Experience
* Tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or related field
* Strong understanding of dry and wet mineral processing operations
* Proficient in metallurgical accounting, including mass and water balancing
* Experienced in statistical analysis and metallurgical testing methods
* Advanced computer skills (process data historian, SAP, Tableau)
* A natural problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
