About the Role
As a Program Assistant at Anglesea Discovery Camp, you will help create unforgettable experiences in the great outdoors. Our camp is a place where young people discover new skills and build confidence. You will work alongside a passionate team to ensure every activity is safe, engaging, and fun.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering programs: Facilitating a variety of outdoor activities for visiting schools and community groups, ensuring they are delivered safely and effectively.
* Supporting learning: Assisting in preparing, implementing, and evaluating programs that help different groups achieve their learning outcomes.
* Equipment care: Maintaining program equipment to ensure it is always safe, functional, and ready for action.
* Living our values: Upholding the values of the Y Victoria in every interaction, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all campers.
About You
We are looking for a motivated individual who loves the outdoors and is passionate about working with young people. You are a natural team player with strong leadership qualities and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

* Experience: Previous experience in delivering outdoor recreation programs involving young people.

About Anglesea Discovery Camp
Anglesea Discovery Camp is a coastal adventure camp, managed by YMCA Camps. Catering to schools and groups year-round, the team at Anglesea run a variety of programs and activities to suit every group, from beach swimming, canoeing and skateboarding by day, to campfires and stargazing by night. Featuring flexible accommodation options for clients, a vast array of outdoor activities, and nearby access to rivers and beaches, Anglesea Discovery Camp provides the rare opportunity to explore the sand, sea, surf, bush and river environments all in one place.
